Membership to the Ginninderra Tigers is only $135 each year (October to September) and is available for all eligible athletes (family discount for one or more siblings). UC Ginninderra Athletics Club accepts registrations from Athletes aged 11 to 99 years. For Little Athletics only (6 to 17 years) see your nearest Little Athletics Club.
- discounts on 6 and 12 month Gym Memberships which include Unlimited Fitness such as full access to the gym for personal use as well as access to group fitness classes;
- access to Magpies Sports Clubs;
- free access to Athletics Australia accredited coaches,
- eligibility to Association events,
- equipment access and field hire for training,
- performance tracking via MyResults,
- Interstate Trips, and
- Little Athletics ACT and Athletics ACT registration/insurance.
Ginninderra provides family discounts for one or more full registrations in the same family:
- 1 athlete $135,
- 2 athletes $260,
- 3 athletes $385,
- 4 athletes $510
The Tigers offer a grass roots and masters membership of $65/year which includes insurance, access to the Magpies Sports Club and use of all the great facilities at Charnwood Athletics Field.
Grass Roots Members can freely participate on Saturday mornings with the UC Tigers in the Open Age Group however if you wish to compete at any Association event at the AIS or Woden Park you must upgrade to a Full Membership or a Dual Veteran Membership.
Grass Roots Memberships are available only to athletes over the age of 17 years.
For any registered ACT Little Athlete in the Under 12 to Under 17 Age Groups (athletes must have a birthday between 1 October 2000 and 30 September 2006) you may choose to Dual Register with the UC Ginninderra Tigers in order to compete at Athletics ACT Association (AACT) events or at Charnwood Oval as a Senior Athlete.
Dual Registration is free and entitles athletes to all the benefits of being a full member of the Tigers including access to Coaches and Facilities. There are also discounts on Uniform prices.
However you may wear your current Little Athletics or the UCGAC uniform while competing at AACT competitions. Athletes will be required to wear their AACT competition numbers whilst competing at AACT meets.
